Most sought-after ride at Rock in Rio, zip line doesn't work during Avenged Sevenfold show; understand the reason

The zip line is the most sought-after ride at Rock in Rio 2026. Appointments for the attraction filled up in just over an hour after the festival gates opened. This Saturday (5), the ride's activation runs until 11:30 PM, a few minutes before the main attraction takes the Palco Mundo stage.

For this reason, the zip line will not operate during the Avenged Sevenfold band's show, which closes the second night of the festival. The rock group's musicians are scheduled to begin their performance already past midnight, at 12:05 AM.

In previous editions of Rock in Rio, other main artists have already requested that the attraction stop during their performances. This is the case with Justin Bieber, Post Malone, Guns N' Roses, among other headliners who performed at the festival.

Ride staff informed EXTRA that the activation may indeed be stopped before the regular time when there is an artist request.
