Victim of vehicle crash in Fronteira airlifted to Lisbon

A victim of a vehicle crash was airlifted from the municipality of Fronteira to Lisbon. The incident occurred on the IC13 road, in Fronteira, in the district of Portalegre. Authorities were alerted to the occurrence and deployed an emergency response to the scene. Twelve operatives were mobilised, including firefighters, GNR military personnel, and elements from the Instituto Nacional de Emergência Médica (INEM), supported by four vehicles. The victim was subsequently transported by helicopter to a hospital facility in Lisbon.

Edson Vander da Silva Júnior, 32 years old, identified as the drug trafficking boss in Serra, Greater Vitória, was arrested in the luxury apartment of David Corrêa, aka DVD, forward for Vasco da Gama. The Civil Police of Espírito Santo revealed that Edson Vander managed the athlete's career and finances. The investigation revealed that the attack was motivated by suspicion that the victim had leaked information to a rival criminal faction, leading to the kidnapping and subsequent attempted homicide.
