El Periódico Mediterráneo - General5 September 2026 at 18:06

The Generalitat is promoting the network of Recycling Centers in the province of Castellón through aid granted to 16 municipalities at risk of depopulation. The Second Vice-Presidency and the Ministry of Presidency are responsible for these measures.

In 2026, a total of 395,941 euros in aid was granted to these municipalities, destined for the creation and improvement of Recycling Centers in the region.

The objective is to reinforce the network of infrastructure for motorhomes in the inland counties of the province of Castellón, improving the services available to residents and visitors of these areas.

With this initiative, the Generalitat seeks to revitalize rural areas at risk of depopulation, offering better environmental and waste management services to the citizens of these localities.
