The Secretary-General of the PCP, Jerónimo de Sousa, considered today that the Government "let itself be dragged along" by the controversies involving the Minister of Home Affairs, Luís Neves. The communist leader said that the official has many explanations to give about the situation. The position was transmitted during a public intervention by Jerónimo de Sousa, in which he criticized the way the executive dealt with the controversies surrounding the minister.
