The Danish midfielder of FC Porto, Mikkel Frimer Froholdt, suffered a brain concussion during the match against Moreirense on Friday. The player lost consciousness after being hit on the head by Guilherme Liberato, a teammate, in the final moments of the Porto side's 2-1 victory.

Due to this injury, Froholdt was ruled out of FC Porto's match against Manchester City, which takes place in the context of the Champions League. The brain concussion forced the midfielder to be left out of the squad for this important European match.

The incident occurred in the final minutes of the Portuguese league match, when Guilherme Liberato, during a ball dispute, ended up accidentally hitting Froholdt's head, causing the Danish player to lose consciousness.
