Franculino Djú, striker trained at Benfica, was officially announced as a new signing for Trabzonspor, the club where Egyptian Mohamed Salah plays. The Guinean international leaves Midtjylland heading to Turkey in a transfer that can reach 30 million euros, between 25 million euros fixed and another 5 in bonuses. The transfer value is higher than the 17 million euros initially pointed out by the Turkish press.
The deal also benefits Benfica, which will receive a sum for the player's training through FIFA's solidarity mechanism. Although Franculino Djú left the Luz for free in the summer of 2023, the training carried out in Seixal now allows the Eagles to pocket 750 thousand euros.
The striker was linked to Benfica between 2019 and 2023, before heading to Denmark to represent Midtjylland. The Danish club still maintains 15% of the rights related to a future sale of the player.
