The Évora Football Association celebrated its centenary, a milestone that marks a century of existence and work developed over the years. The ceremony was interpreted as a recognition of the institution's trajectory and an opportunity to give national visibility to the eborense territory.
The vice-president of the Évora Municipal Council, Jerónimo José, was present at the celebration and expressed his satisfaction, considering the day very happy for football and for the city. The politician highlighted that sports practice transcends the competitive aspect, constituting a fundamental pillar for health and for social cohesion among the populations of the municipality.
As part of this celebration, Jerónimo José also admitted the possibility of reviewing the Football Academy protocol, suggesting that the centenary may represent a moment of reflection on the future and the strengthening of local sports structures.
