The American Caro Claire Burke is the author of a best-seller that offers a forceful critique of conservative influencers who advocate the traditional lifestyle of a housewife submissive to her husband. The book, titled "Good Times: Yesteryear", has just been launched in Brazil.
According to the author, these influencers who pretend to be submissive to their husbands are actually the same ones who manage multi-million empires behind the scenes. Burke questions the authenticity of this traditional discourse they promote publicly.
Burke's work has just arrived on the Brazilian market and is already drawing attention for its critical tone toward American right-wing conservatism, especially toward the movement of so-called "tradwives."
In addition to its editorial success, the book will be adapted for film by actress Anne Hathaway, guaranteeing even more visibility to Burke's critique of the conservative influencer phenomenon.
