The 4th edition of ATPD's Human Rights Academy takes place in Bragança with the theme "The territory is yours, your voice is yours," proposing a reflection on the challenges and opportunities for young people who live and develop their activities in rural territories. Over the course of a week, participating students will be involved in fieldwork activities, community engagement, and the joint development of proposals for the territory.

The initiative includes two sessions open to the community. The first takes place on September 9th, between 10:30 AM and 12:30 PM, at the School of Education of the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança, dedicated to diagnosing the main problems, needs, and opportunities identified by young people in rural territories.

The second session takes place on September 11th, starting at 4:00 PM, at the Municipal Auditorium of Bragança, continuing the discussion and seeking to find responses to the identified issues. At 5:30 PM that day, the documentary "Villages of the Future" will be shown, followed by a debate on the future of rural territories and the drafting of a Manifesto.

The contributions collected throughout the initiative will serve as the basis for developing proposals for the territory, which will later be compiled in a final report and the Manifesto for Rural Territories. The news was published by journalist Vitória Botelho.
