Exhibition about Madeira and the European Union arrives in Câmara de Lobos

The traveling exhibition "Madeira and the European Union" was inaugurated this morning at the Museu da Imprensa da Madeira (Madeira Press Museum), in Câmara de Lobos, where it will remain on display until the end of September. The event was promoted by the office of MEP Sérgio Gonçalves and is part of the celebrations of the 40 years of Portugal's accession to the then European Economic Community. The exhibition aims to portray the impact of four decades of European integration in the Autonomous Region of Madeira. Through infographic content, the exhibition addresses topics such as cohesion funds and EU investments that marked the development of the island over these four decades.
