Sixteen arrested for drug trafficking and other crimes

The Territorial Command of Castelo Branco of the GNR carried out a set of random inspection actions between August 26 and 30, which resulted in the detention of 16 citizens.

The crimes that motivated the detentions were drug trafficking, driving under the influence of alcohol, driving without a legal license, and possession of a prohibited weapon.

The operation was conducted by the Territorial Command of Castelo Branco of the Republican National Guard, within the scope of its inspection and public order maintenance competencies.
