Death toll from Nepal floods rises to 1,344

The death toll from floods in Nepal has risen to 1,344. The country is facing one of the worst natural disasters in recent years, with devastating floods that have affected various regions.

Among the missing are at least 606 foreign citizens. Authorities continue to work to locate these people in the areas affected by the floods.

Rescue and assistance operations maintain approximately 8,000 deployed personnel, including emergency teams, military and volunteers working in the most affected areas.

So far, the operations have provided assistance to 8,962 people, who have received logistical, medical and humanitarian support since the beginning of the crisis.
