Amadeu is a Portuguese company in the weighing sector based in Braga that has been participating in the Facim fair in Maputo for 32 years. The company took its scales from the Portuguese city to Mozambique and has remained present at the international fair since then, having established a lasting commercial relationship with the African country.

Facim is an international fair that takes place in the outskirts of Maputo and runs until Sunday. This event features approximately 3,000 exhibitors from 29 countries, making it one of the largest commercial events in the region.

The company Amadeu is one of approximately 100 companies with Portuguese capital represented at Facim. The Portuguese presence at this fair demonstrates the interest of Portuguese investors and traders in the Mozambican market and the business opportunities existing in the country.

The case of Amadeu illustrates how some Portuguese companies manage to maintain a continuous presence in African markets for decades, building stable commercial relationships and adapting to local needs over time.
