The house-studio and garden of artist Lourdes Castro, located in Caniço, were advertised for sale at 4.1 million euros. The space was created by the artist in partnership with her husband, Manuel Zimbro.

The listing was subsequently withdrawn, but the future of the place remains uncertain. The reasons behind the property being listed for sale and the reasons for its removal are not known.

The situation raises concerns about the preservation of this cultural space, which represents an important part of Lourdes Castro's artistic legacy in Portugal.
