David Calle is a teacher, educational content creator on YouTube and telecommunications engineer who was invited three years ago to participate in the program 'Cifras y letras', which returned to La 2 de TVE. Calle was a fan of the program in the 90s, when it was presented by Elisenda Roca, and had tried to participate during the previous stage of the format. However, he thought they were contacting him to compete, not to join the team.
He ended up becoming the program's numbers specialist, being part of the team led by presenter Aitor Albizua and the letters specialist, Elena Herraiz. The program 'Cifras y letras' combines mathematical calculation tests and general linguistic culture.
In addition to his participation in the contest, David Calle manages a channel on YouTube called Unicoos, where he addresses topics of mathematics, physics and chemistry, offering educational content to thousands of viewers.
