The José Saramago Municipal Library, located in Odemira, will reopen to the public on September 5, after the completion of refurbishment works that transformed the space into a more modern and innovative place.

To mark the occasion, a special program has been prepared featuring the presence of Pilar del Río, President of the José Saramago Foundation, and actress Maria do Céu Guerra.

The refurbishment works aimed to modernize the municipal library facilities, making them more suitable for the current needs of users.
