A new mural dedicated to Freddie Mercury was unveiled at Wembley Park, in London, to mark the singer's 80th birthday. The work was revealed to the public this Saturday, the date that marks eight decades since the birth of the Queen band's leader.
The mural is almost 10 meters tall and was created as a tribute to the singer born in Zanzibar in 1946. The location at Wembley Park, next to the famous stadium, was not chosen at random, being a place of great significance for the artist's memory.
The work stands out for its anamorphic nature, an artistic technique that creates optical illusions through calculated distortions. This particularity means the mural can only be fully appreciated from a specific point near Wembley stadium.
