Anitta will be announced as the new Queen of the Drum Line of Grande Rio. The information was published exclusively by the Retardos da Vida column at EXTRA. The official announcement will be made this Sunday, the 6th, the day before a holiday.

The position was left vacant after Virginia Fonseca's departure, who left the position last Wednesday. As soon as the vacancy opened, the school in Caxias, in the Baixada Fluminense area, rushed to find new names.

The school tried again to get Paolla de Oliveira to return to the position, but she refused. Given the refusal, Anitta was invited and immediately accepted the invitation to take on the position of queen of the drum line.

The singer's full name will be officially announced next Saturday, the 22nd. This will not be the first time Anitta has performed in a parade at Marquês de Sapucaí, as she has experience from previous carnivals.

Fans spend up to 2 hours getting tattoos at Rock in Rio

During Rock in Rio 2026, fans are taking advantage of getting tattoos at the Venice Ink booth located next to the Mundo Stage. The booth operates during the seven days of the festival and offers tattoos with headliner symbols, such as Foo Fighters and Stray Kids. By the beginning of the evening of the first day, around 100 tattoos had already been done. Prices range from R$ 200 for the simplest ones, with an average completion time of 20 minutes, to R$ 1,000 for the more elaborate ones, which can take up to two hours. This is the first time Venice Ink participates in Rock in Rio with their own space, although they already have a presence at Lollapalooza in São Paulo.
