The Court of Justice of Rio de Janeiro sentenced former governor Sérgio Cabral and six other defendants for administrative impropriety. The sentence is related to an illegal scheme of privileges granted to the former governor during the fulfillment of his sentence.

Among the privileges was the so-called "Cabral's videoteca," which was installed at the José Frederico Marques Public Jail, in Benfica, where Cabral was serving his sentence. Other undue advantages were also granted at Penitentiary Bangu VIII.

The decision was issued by the Fourth Chamber of Public Law of the Rio de Janeiro Court of Justice.
