The targets struck included oil terminals considered vital for Russian military logistics support. The strategic importance of these terminals is linked to the fact that they are essential for supplying fuel to Russian forces.
In addition to the oil terminals, Ukrainian forces successfully struck an advanced S-400 air defense battery during these incursions. This system represents one of the most sophisticated air defense assets utilized by Russia.
The operations also resulted in an attack on a Russian vessel, demonstrating Ukraine's capacity to project force over long distances and strike significant targets of the Russian fleet in the Black Sea region.
