The production of Festival Canta announced the cancellation of the 2026 edition of the event, which was scheduled for October 10 at Caminho Niemeyer, in Niterói. The festival would return to the city after three years of absence.
The event featured artists such as Menos é Mais, Nattan, Pedro Sampaio, Léo Foguete, and MC Cabelinho, who would perform on three stages.
According to an official statement, the decision was made to preserve the quality standard already consolidated by the festival, which is known for delivering a high-level experience to the audience.
The amounts paid for tickets will be fully refunded automatically within 30 days through the Ingresse platform, which will send a communication by email to all buyers.
