An audio with Pedro Bial's voice will open Xamã's show at Rock in Rio next Sunday (6), at the Favela Stage. The text was written by the journalist himself at the singer's request, who wanted a poem that mixed music and cinema, two of his great passions.
Bial shared an excerpt of the text with the publication: "It's a screen, but you can call it a stage/ It's an image, but you can call it sound/ It's the minimum measurement from head to heart: where the ear reaches the sight/ It's cinema, you can call it music/ It's music, you can call it cinema/ It is, you can call it by name/ You can call, call: Xamã!"
Xamã and Pedro Bial became friends as soon as the singer emerged on the music scene. Bial says the friendship is maintained through messages and phone calls, and that two shared passions united them: poetry and Fluminense.
Bial has interviewed the artist several times and is a fan, especially of Xamã's most recent album, whose title appears cut off in the article.
