A 24-year-old man was arrested in the act by the GNR in Lousada, during a road inspection operation carried out on August 24. The action was carried out by the Lousada Territorial Post, belonging to the Porto Territorial Command, as part of a routine search of a vehicle.
The military personnel inspected the driver and found that he was in possession of narcotic substances. During the security search of the suspect, a knuckleduster, three doses of hashish and two doses of cannabis were seized.
Following the intervention, a report was also filed for drug consumption against the arrested man. The suspect was named as a defendant and the facts were referred to the Judicial Court of Lousada.
