Prime Minister Montenegro announced that the fuel tax discount already totals around 700 million euros in 2026. This measure represents significant support for consumers given the pressure on fuel prices.
The official also admitted that the executive may implement new support measures should fuel prices remain at the levels recorded over the past four weeks. This possibility of new interventions arises in a context of concern over the cost of living and the impact of fuel on family economies.
