Tamila Holub, Olympic swimmer from Braga, was the most voted athlete in the elections for the Athletes' Commission of the International Committee of the Mediterranean Games (CIJM). The Portuguese athlete assumed the position of Vice-President of this commission for the term corresponding to the period 2026-2030.
The election represents another important milestone for Portugal's representation in the international sports scene. The swimmer adds this new prominent position to the recent election of another Portuguese to a similar position, reinforcing Portugal's position in the international representation of athletes.
