Huawei plans to launch mobile operating system globally

Huawei announced plans to expand the HarmonyOS operating system beyond China to global markets. The company's vice-president and chairman, Xu Zhijun, revealed this intention during a recent event.

The expansion process will begin in some countries, although Huawei has not specified which nations will be the first to receive the operating system outside China.

HarmonyOS has been developed by Huawei as an alternative to Google's Android operating system, given the trade restrictions imposed by the United States on the Chinese company.

This expansion represents a significant strategic move for Huawei, which aims to increase the presence of its operating system in the international mobile phone market.
