Arrested in Salvaterra for robbery and kidnapping at pharmacy

Two men, aged 25 and 36, were arrested this week by the Judicial Police on strong suspicion of committing, in co-authorship, a crime of aggravated robbery and a crime of kidnapping. The crimes occurred on August 31st at a pharmacy in the municipality of Salvaterra de Magos, in the locality of Muge.

The suspects used a firearm to intimidate the pharmacy employee during the incident. The two arrested individuals were brought before court and will await trial in preventive detention.

The case was investigated and monitored by the Judicial Police, who confirmed the strong evidence of involvement of the two defendants in the crimes of aggravated robbery and kidnapping.
