Government increases diesel and gasoline discount by 3 cents

The Portuguese government increased by three cents the discount applied to diesel and gasoline prices. The announcement was made this Friday by the Minister of the Presidency.

With this measure, the executive intends to continue mitigating the impact of rising fuel prices for consumers. The discount applies to both diesel and gasoline.

The Minister of the Presidency was responsible for communicating this government decision during the week. This change represents a reinforcement of existing support measures to mitigate the rise in fuel prices in the country.
