EU opposes plans to remove Palestinians from Gaza

The European Union expressed its opposition to any plan to remove Palestinians from the Gaza Strip. This position comes in response to recent statements by the Israeli National Security Minister.

The Israeli minister proposed the departure of 1.86 million people from the Palestinian territory over a period of seven years. This proposal generated strong international condemnation and concerns about violations of international law.

The European position reinforces the defense of the two-state solution and the maintenance of Palestinian populations in their territories. The EU also reiterated its commitment to a just and lasting resolution of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
