The public charging infrastructure for electric vehicles in Spain continues to expand, but faces the challenge of ensuring the operability of installed equipment. According to data from ANFAC's Electromobility Barometer, 1 in 4 charging points installed in the country remains out of service.
The Spanish public network currently has 56,682 operational charging points. This number reflects growth after the incorporation of 1,605 new installations during the second quarter of the year.
ANFAC, the association representing automobile manufacturers in Spain, monitors this situation through its Electromobility Barometer, which serves as a reference for evaluating the state of charging infrastructure in the country.
