Mayors of Moncorvo and Carrazeda demand government support to cover fire damage losses

The mayors of the municipalities of Torre de Moncorvo and Carrazeda de Ansiães are demanding government support to address the losses caused by the fires that affected the region.

The mayor of Torre de Moncorvo, José Meneses, from PSD, revealed that his municipality was hit by two significant fires, one in July and another in August.

According to the mayor, these fires caused considerable damage in the affected territories, leading the mayors to call for intervention from the national government to cover the losses.
