Steve Witkoff, Donald Trump's special envoy to Ukraine, was supposed to travel to Kiev this weekend, according to the article. Witkoff and Jared Kushner, the US president's son-in-law and another of Washington's chief negotiators, were preparing to visit Kiev and Moscow on September 5th and 6th, which would be the first trip for both to Ukraine.
