ANTRAM. "It is a silent suffering"

ANTRAM warned of a disruption in the road freight transport sector due to the increase in fuel prices. The association's spokesperson, André Matias de Almeida, described the situation as a "silent suffering" affecting the sector's professionals.

The official acknowledged the measures implemented by the government to support the sector, praising the initiatives taken. However, he warned that these measures may prove insufficient given the severity of the situation.

André Matias de Almeida spoke on behalf of ANTRAM, the association representing public road freight transporters in Portugal, warning about the growing challenges facing the industry with the escalation of energy costs.
