The Nutribalance company, owned by Nuno Forbes, filed for insolvency with declared debts of 1.3 million euros to 222 creditors. However, the judicial administrator would later recognize credits of 2.5 million euros belonging to 245 creditors, almost double the amount initially presented.
The company hid a debt of 531 thousand euros from Novo Banco, which constitutes a significant omission in the initial insolvency declaration submitted to the courts.
Only the workers should recover some money, but they will be far from the 540 thousand euros they are owed, representing a substantial loss compared to the amounts that were due to them.
The case highlights the discrepancies between what was declared by the company and what was recognized by the judicial administrator, revealing a financial situation more serious than what was initially communicated.
