The Preserved Village of Quintandona, in Lagares e Figueira, in the municipality of Penafiel, prepares to host another edition of the Quintandona Caldo Festival, taking place between September 18 and 20. The event, which is already part of Penafiel's cultural calendar, promises three days dedicated to gastronomy, music, culture and entertainment, transforming the streets of this characteristic village into a meeting point for visitors from different regions of the country.

The initiative is organized by CASAXINÉ – Association for the Promotion and Cultural Development of Quintandona, with the support of the Municipality of Penafiel. The traditional caldo returns as one of the main attractions, also allowing visitors to taste other delicacies of local gastronomy, all in a setting marked by schist houses, traditional architecture and the rural atmosphere that characterizes the village.

The program extends beyond gastronomy, with music, theater, popular culture and entertainment for audiences of all ages. Among the confirmed artists are Omiri, Collados, Os Maiatos, Folky Bal'Boa, Xoteiras, Cristina de Sousa & Guests and Lagares Musical Band, among others.

More than celebrating a traditional dish, the Quintandona Caldo Festival seeks to keep the community's traditions and culture alive, valuing the local heritage and customs. The event is also an opportunity to showcase this village, attracting visitors who seek to learn about the heritage and traditions of the Penafiel region.
