The PSD/Madeira Parliamentary Group visited, on a Friday, Casa Esperança, the first day and night center in the Autonomous Region of Madeira. The institution is managed by the Garouta do Calhau Association.
The social-democrat deputies praised the work carried out in this social response, highlighting the Regional Government's investment in creating new social responses focused on the needs of the elderly population.
Bina Pereira, during the visit, mentioned the importance of this new structure for the local community and for supporting the elderly in the region.
The PSD's visit to Casa Esperança demonstrates the political recognition of the relevance of these institutions for the dignified aging of the Madeiran population.
