Hospital de São João, in Porto, achieved third place in the Healthcare category of RepScore 2026, a study developed by OnStrategy, with a score of 74.8 points. This result places the hospital unit among the three best-ranked organizations in the health sector in Portugal, standing out for being the only public hospital institution present in the Top 3.
The classification represents an improvement compared to the previous edition of the study. In 2025, São João had recorded 74.1 points, now having increased to 74.8 points. RepScore evaluates the reputation of organizations through various dimensions, including trust, admiration, preference, recommendation and perceived quality, also considering factors such as innovation, work environment and leadership.
The result is presented as recognition of the work carried out daily by São João's professionals and the role that the institution plays in different areas of health. In addition to healthcare provision, the hospital maintains a strong connection to teaching and research, also focusing on innovation.
The presence on the national podium of RepScore 2026 reinforces Hospital de São João's position among the health institutions most recognized by the Portuguese and once again puts the Porto unit in the spotlight at the national level.
