An 80-year-old woman was detained on suspicion of having set three fires in the parish of Ribas, in the municipality of Celorico de Basto. The fires occurred on August 16, 17, and 18.
The suspect allegedly acted for personal reasons, according to the information provided. The detention was carried out by the National Republican Guard.
The woman will be brought before court for initial questioning, where decisions regarding the case will be made.
