The president of the Generalitat, Juanfran Pérez Llorca, announced that the monthly salary increase of 75 euros for teaching staff will be applied in September. The announcement was made during a visit to the municipality of Polop.

The salary agreement was reached in May and, according to Llorca, the increase will be implemented at the beginning of the next school year. To formalize the measure, the Council (Consell) will hold an extraordinary plenary session on the following Tuesday.

This decision represents a significant investment in education in the region, directly benefiting teachers with a monthly salary increase. The president emphasized the regional government's commitment to valuing the teaching profession.
