Angolan international reserves stood at 14.9 billion dollars, equivalent to 12.8 billion euros, in the second quarter, guaranteeing 6.7 months of import of goods and services. This information was released by the National Bank of Angola (BNA) through the Information Note on External Statistics.
The central bank's document also indicates that the Angolan current account balance recorded a surplus exceeding two billion dollars, which corresponds to approximately 1.7 billion euros.
This surplus represents 4.4% of Angola's Gross Domestic Product (GDP), demonstrating a significant recovery in the country's economy.
Compared to the previous quarter, there was an expansion of 40.1% in these economic indicators, reflecting an improvement in Angola's external financial position.
