The Minister of the Presidency, Justice and Relations with the Courts, Félix Bolaños, stated in Oviedo that "in complex crises like the one in Ceuta, it is better to have a progressive government that can lead and manage it with total transparency." The statements were made during the closing speech of the UGT Asturias summer school.
Bolaños assured that the Government will publish all reports related to the events in Ceuta on the days of July 30 and 31 and subsequent days, so that citizens have access to the same information that the Executive had. The objective, according to the minister, is to show that the management was carried out "with humanity and with respect for human rights and scrupulous compliance with the law."
The minister did not answer questions from journalists during his visit to Asturias. Bolaños justified that the publication of all documents requires "time," arguing that this transparent conduct will allow citizens to learn the facts as the Government learned them.
