Spain's Minister of Culture hopes to expand cultural cooperation with Brazil during Book Fair

The Minister of Culture of Spain, Ernest Urtasun, said that the country's participation as Guest of Honor at the 28th International Book Fair of São Paulo should serve to expand cultural cooperation projects between Spaniards and Brazilians, especially with the city of São Paulo. The Book Fair begins this Friday (4) and runs until September 13, at Anhembi District, in the North Zone of São Paulo.

Considered one of the main literary events in Latin America, the meeting brings together 269 exhibitors and is expected to receive more than 700,000 visitors. In this edition, Spain occupies a prominent position, with a 500-square-meter pavilion and a program dedicated to the literature and culture of the country.

For Spain's Minister of Culture, Ernest Urtasun, the Spanish presence at the Book Fair goes beyond promoting the country's literature. He highlighted the influence of Brazilian artists on Spanish culture and noted that Spain hopes to expand cultural cooperation with Brazil during the event.

European Union and Ukraine prepare first meeting on drone industry

The European Union will meet for the first time the European and Ukrainian drone industry on September 11, in Brussels, as part of the EU-Ukraine Drone Alliance created by the European Commission.
