Transdev launched the "Women Behind the Wheel" campaign, which aims to increase female representation in the driving profession. The campaign features women who already work as drivers at the company, sharing their real stories and professional experiences.
The CEO of Transdev Portugal, Sérgio Soares, stated that the initiative aims to show that driving is a profession open to all interested people, reaching out to a female audience that has traditionally had lower representation in this area.
The company provides free training for obtaining the driver's license and the certification required to practice the profession, covering all associated costs. The job offer also includes a permanent contract, full-time and part-time schedules, meal allowance, continuous training, health insurance and discounts with partner companies.
