Barcelos City Council Discusses Opening of Competition for 36 Affordable Rental Units

The Municipal Executive of Barcelos meets next Monday, September 7th, at 10:00 AM, for a meeting with 44 proposals on the agenda. The meeting addresses various matters of municipal interest, including housing-related issues in the region.

One of the main deliberations foreseen concerns the opening of a competition for the allocation of 36 housing units under an affordable rental scheme. The properties will be made available in the reduced rent modality, seeking to address the housing needs of the local population.

Within the housing area, there is also a foreseen analysis of support aimed at assisting residents in situations of housing vulnerability. This measure is part of a broader strategy of social policies by the municipality of Barcelos to combat difficulties in accessing housing.
