Dave Grohl, leader of Foo Fighters, revealed details about Kurt Cobain's death in his best-selling book "The Storyteller: Tales of Life and Music," published in 2021. Grohl was Cobain's bandmate in Nirvana before founding Foo Fighters.

The American band is the big attraction this Friday at Rock in Rio's Mundo Stage, returning to Brazil after more than two decades. Dave Grohl has never hidden his affection for the country and demonstrated this during the promotional tour for his book in Washington D.C., United States.

On that occasion, Grohl showed the audience a photograph of Foo Fighters in front of a crowd in Rio de Janeiro, in rain and lightning, and made a declaration of love to the Brazilian fans. He said that the essence of his music lies in the audience, stating that "you are what musicians need to survive."
