Benicàssim increases investment to 77,000 euros to relieve heat in classrooms

The Municipal Council of Benicàssim approved a credit modification to increase the investment destined to combat the high temperatures in the schools of the municipality. The ordinary plenary session took place on Friday morning.

The total investment went from the 41,000 euros initially announced by the Generalitat to 77,000 euros. The municipality added approximately 36,000 euros of its own funds to the budget.

The additional money will be destined for the improvement of the thermal conditions at the Santa Águeda school, where high temperatures affect the comfort of students in the classrooms.
