Macau and Angola signed today a mutual visa waiver agreement, which will allow Macau residents and Angolan citizens to enter both territories without the need for a visa. The signing ceremony took place between the two jurisdictions.
The agreement was signed during an official ceremony. The secretary for Administration and Justice of the Macau Executive, Wong Sio Chak, represented Macau on the occasion.
Wong Sio Chak stated that the agreement "will significantly facilitate the life" of residents from both sides. The official highlighted that the measure will be especially beneficial in the areas of tourism, academic exchange and trade.
