The Pool of the Volunteer Firefighters of Agualva-Cacém reopened to the public on September 1st, marking the beginning of the new season and the 2026/2027 school year. The pool welcomed back members and users after a period of closure.
The new season features improvements to the facilities, namely the installation of new equipment. According to the responsible association, the investment aims to strengthen the quality, safety and comfort provided to users.
Despite the reopening, maintenance work continues, including painting and minor repairs. These interventions are being carried out outside class hours and without users present, so as not to interfere with the normal operation of the pool.
The management team states that they "continue to invest in the facilities and the community," highlighting the return to activity with better conditions for all users.
