The Viseu Half Marathon returns on September 20th for its 43rd edition, with start and finish at the Fontelo Sports Complex. Promoted by the Municipality of Viseu, with technical management by Native Warriors, the initiative includes, in addition to the 21-kilometre half marathon, a 10-kilometre race, the Kids Race Parents and Children and a five-kilometre walk.
The programme begins on September 19th, with the opening of the Fun Zone. On Sunday, September 20th, the sporting events start at 09:00 with the Kids Race Parents and Children. At 09:40, the Half Marathon and the 10-kilometre race begin, while the five-kilometre walk is scheduled for 09:50.
According to the organisation, the event seeks to provide different forms of participation, allowing the involvement of competitive athletes, running and walking enthusiasts and families. Registrations are open until September 13th.
