The new Lusíadas Beloura Hospital opened on September 1st in the municipality of Sintra, representing a 40 million euro investment. The unit occupies an area of approximately 9,500 square meters distributed across four floors and expects to integrate approximately 500 professionals, with the goal of strengthening the healthcare offer in the western area of the Lisbon Metropolitan Area, covering the municipalities of Sintra, Cascais and Oeiras.

The hospital was designed to meet the needs of an estimated population of approximately one million people. It has 41 outpatient consultation offices, 18 examination rooms, 27 inpatient beds, three dental medicine chairs, two operating room suites and an ambulatory surgery room. Management estimates that the unit can perform annually over 100,000 consultations and 4,000 surgeries.

Among the available specialties are cardiology, general surgery, gastroenterology, gynecology and obstetrics, pediatrics, internal medicine, general and family medicine, otolaryngology, orthopedics and dermatology. The hospital also includes a walk-in medical area without prior scheduling, the Lusíadas Integrated Health Center with a consultation dedicated to prevention and longevity, a HeyDoc network dental medicine unit, and home care support services through HUG Lusíadas Home Care.

Vasco Antunes Pereira, Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO of Lusíadas Saúde Group, stated that the hospital "adds care capacity in one of the most populous regions of the country," combining clinical differentiation, innovation, prevention and continuity of care. The unit operates in coordination with the group's other hospitals in Greater Lisbon, in Lisbon, Amadora and Alfragide.
